Dr Mike Buchholtz

Dr Mike was born and raised in East London and matriculated from Selborne College. Dr Mike qualified with a master’s degree in Chiropractic from Durban University of Technology with his dissertation completed on electrotherapy. Dr Mike has also completed a post-graduate certificate in Chiropractic Foot Care. Dr Mike is a master scuba diver and loves fishing. He also has deep sea and diver skipper’s licences. Dr Mike is married to the boss of the practice, Estelle and has 2 sons, Daniel and Simon.

Dr Mike enjoys treating the whole family but has a particular soft spot for treating the elderly. Dr Mike also enjoys the rehabilitation side of Chiropractic care and believes in fixing the cause of the problem and not only masking the symptoms.

Dr Michelle Cox-Kleyn

Dr Michelle grew up in Delmas, a small farming community close to the East Rand. Dr Michelle matriculated in 2013 at Hoërskool Delmas and thereafter went on to study Chiropractic at the University of Johannesburg. Dr Michelle has always been passionate about medicine, but it was only in Grade 11 when she visited a chiropractor herself that she realised this is what she wants to dedicate her life to. “Often a patient crawls into the chiropractic office with debilitating pain, only to walk out an hour later. We make a tangible difference in every patient’s life and that’s what I wanted to do”.

Dr Michelle graduated from UJ with a master’s degree in Chiropractic in 2019 and did her master’s dissertation on the effects of Chiropractic care on lung function in emergency medical care students.

As an only-child, Dr Michelle has a close bond with her family and enjoy spending time with them on their family farm just outside Delmas. Dr Michelle is married to Cobus Cox, a paramedic and sport shooting enthusiast. Dr Michelle and Cobus are the proud parents of a beautiful Scottish Terrier, Lexi. 

Dr Michelle believes everyone can benefit from Chiropractic care and treats athletes, manual laborers, office workers, kiddies and the elderly. 

Estelle Buchholtz

Estelle was born and raised in Kempton Park and matriculated from Hoërskool Kempton Park. Few people know that Estelle is also a qualified Chiropractor. Estelle qualified with a master’s degree in Chiropractic from Durban University of Technology, completing her dissertation on Holism. Estelle has also completed a post graduate certificate in Chiropractic Foot Care. Estelle is married to Dr Mike and is the mom of Daniel and Simon and 3 beautiful, adopted fur babies. Estelle has practiced Chiropractic for many years before deciding to play a more active role in the management of the practice.

Estelle is an advanced scuba diver and has a keen interest in art. The beautiful paintings at our practice were all created by Estelle.
